My story
I have had the opportunity to help thousands of people improve their health and wellness through chiropractic care. In 1998, I opened my clinic in San Mateo, where I practiced for over 26 years. After commuting to the Bay Area for the last 2 1/2 years, I am finally able to lay permanent roots here in El Dorado Hills.
My wife and I have 3 children, with the youngest still in college. Spending time with family and friends is a top priority for me. I also enjoy power-lifting, building custom motorcycles, and participating in various community activities.

My husband has been going here for awhile. Finally, after a vertigo attack, I went to Dr. Mike. It was awesome. I've had 2 adjustments so far and 1 more scheduled. I have a complicated and unusual medical history. Dr. Mike was patient and understanding. Dr. Mike does some massage work and then manual adjustments (which I prefer over an activator or drop table). After the first visit, I was feeling better. The next day I woke up feeling so MUCH better. Then I saw him again for follow up. My dizzies have calmed down and I'm back at the gym getting exercise.

I have had chiropractic care for the last 15 years with 4 different doctors (including Mike). I can honestly say that Dr. Mike is the best chiropractor that I have been to. I am a weekend warrior and every time I push my body too hard, Mike's adjustments help me recover for more weekend punishment. And it's not just the spine that he adjusts. Whether it be a knee from running, an arm from tennis and a neck from cycling, Mike can and has adjusted it. Mike has a great bedside manner and always takes the time to explain why it hurts.

For years I refused to go to a chiropractor because of a bad experience I'd had previously. I have a lower bulged disc that had been aggravated by previous poor chiropractic methods. I told Dr. Mike that I didn't think he would be able to help me, but my bulged disc was causing me a lot of pain. After the first treatment with Dr. Mike I was able to walk upright without pain. My wife used Dr. Mike during her pregrancy and after delivery and he has really helped her also. I'm still not sure about chiropratic medicine in general, but I'm sold on Dr. Mike.

Dr. Mike is amazing! I was skeptical about getting adjusted and my boyfriend kept telling me how good it felt. He wound up making an appointment for me and forcing me to go--it was the best experience ever!! Mike really is the best; he can always fit you in (even at the last minute), his prices are great, he's welcoming, friendly, and most importantly he's got big guns on him which are probably great for adjusting! But in all seriousness Dr. Mike is a gentle giant--he gets the job done fast, is always in a great mood, and I leave feeling so good! I would never let anyone but Mike adjust me, I even drive from San Francisco to get adjusted by him. In a nut shell: If your scared about getting your bones cracked, then Dr. Mike is the man for you!
